Innovative Designs Achieving Sustainability

About The Event

J-IDEAS is a design competition looking for solutions to achieve the aims of Sustainable Development Goals. The competition is open to undergraduate students and a great opportunity to demonstrate their problem solving and design skills. Students are invited to submit their idea in any of the following SDGs:
• Sustainable Cities and Communities
• No Poverty
• Zero Hunger
• Affordable and Clean Energy
• Climate action
• Life on Land
• Good Health and Well-being
• Quality Education

Guidelines for Submission

To participate in the competition, students are required to submit:
1. An abstract up to 300 words, summarizing their design idea.
2. The abstract can be submitted in either DOCX or PDF format with no special formatting guidelines.
3. An up to 5-minute video clip in MP4 format that presents their design idea which should include the elaboration of the objective/problem, method, innovation, and outcome.
4. Students can participate either independently or in a team of up to two students.
