Launching a sophisticated carpooling app solution for locals to promote ridesharing and help reduce traffic congestions. Organizations such as educational institute can launch their own rideshare app for their students and teachers using our carpooling app development solution. Enable peer-to-peer car sharing among friends, family and organizations on common routes with a branded peer-to-peer carpooling app. Organizations can quickly launch a custom P2P carpooling app to efficiently fulfill employee and business traveler’s needs. Carpooling has become a practical, cheap and stress-free way to move around. This project presents the requirement, design and implementation of an enterprise-class application for carpooling following a Model-View-Control model. The kind of trips are single trips, which are trip between organization employers. The check- in system enables users to check in meetings points and notify all users about that. Users can also share their activities on the application to social media. The application is designed to be scalable, extensible, available and with a good performance. The server is implemented using the powerful server of firebase. The server exposes an API, for the clients to consume, and makes the application compatible with android platform. For the scope of this project, one client application is developed using Android, given that the server is compatible with these technologies as previously stated.
